The Department of Mechanical, Industrial and Aerospace Engineering of Concordia University, in collaboration with the Concordia Institute of Aerospace Design and Innovation (CIADI), is pleased to host the 2026 Canadian Section of the Combustion Institute (CICS) Spring Technical Meeting. The 2026 hosting was decided and announced at the 2025 meeting, held at the University of Calgary in Calgary, Alberta.
This annual technical meeting by the Canadian Section of the Combustion Institute welcomes faculty members, researchers, and students from across Canada. It also attracts participants from the United States and beyond who work on all aspects of combustion. Topics range from fundamental combustion phenomena to practical applications of combustion technology. This is the national meeting where people exchange ideas, meet with industrial organizations, and where students are provided opportunities to present their work.
