Welcome Reception
All participants are warmly invited to our Welcome Reception on Monday, May 12, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Schulich School of Engineering Atrium (622 Collegiate Pl NW, Calgary, AB T2L 0Y2). Drinks and light snacks will be provided.
Coffee Breaks
Coffee and light snacks will be available during morning and afternoon breaks on Tuesday, May 13, and Wednesday, May 14, and during the morning break on Thursday, May 15.
Excursion and Banquet
All participants are invited on an excursion to Banff National Park on Wednesday, May 14.
- 2:50 PM: Start boarding the bus
- 3:30 PM: Last Bus Departure (prompt)
- 8:30-9:00 PM: Bus leaving from Banff
The trip from campus to the park takes about 1.5 hours. Upon arrival, you will have time to explore the Town of Banff and visit the beautiful bow falls:
This year’s Banquet will be held at the iconic Fairmont Banff Springs. Pre-dinner drinks will be served starting at 6:00 PM, and the guests are expected to be seated around 7:00 PM. Then, a buffet-style dinner will be served.
The hotel map is included here the venue is to be accessed from the Main Lobby and the Banquet is at the Cascade Ballroom at the far end of the Mezzanine Level 2.
