Participants will be able to register for the conference starting from 6pm on Monday, May 16th, in the main lobby of Desmarais Building at 55 Laurier Ave. E. Registration will remain open during the duration of the welcome reception. Participants will also be able to register on Tuesday, May 17th, in the coffee break area.
Coffee breaks will be provided in the main lobby of Desmarais Building on all three mornings, as well as in the afternoons of Tuesday, May 17th and Wednesday, May 18th. Coffee and viennoiseries will also be available before each plenary lecture, from 7:45.
Participants are invited to attend the welcome reception on Monday, May 16th, starting from 6pm. The event will be held in the main lobby of Desmarais Building. Refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
Participants are invited to attend the Canadian Tulip Festival (https://tulipfestival.ca/) in Commissioners Park on Tuesday May 17th. Drinks and finger foods (including BeaverTails!) will be available at the nearby Lago Bar and Grill on Dow’s lake. Please bring adequate clothing in case it rains.
Buses will leave the gathering point at 6:00pm, with return buses scheduled for 8:30, 9:30, and 10:30. For those interested, it is a 5.7km walk along the Rideau Canal from Desmarais building to Commissioners Park and takes roughly an hour and 15 minutes.
The CI/CS Conference Banquet will be held on Wednesday May 18th in the Camille Villeneuve room DMS4101, Desmarais Building, starting at 6:00pm.
